Modernizing the IBISWorld digital platform

IBISWorld revamped and rebranded its digital platform to improve site usability, customer experience and digital adoption.

Context

To support IBISWorld’s platform revamp, I was responsible for the following:

  • Creating content guidelines
  • Writing UX content
  • Redesign and create new user onboarding

Content guidelines

Prior to the revamp, there were no content guidelines for UI content. I audited the existing content and collaborated with internal stakeholders to create UI content guidelines from scratch that aligned with Industry Report and marketing guidelines.

Writing UX content

Using the newly established content guidelines, I worked cross-functionally with product managers and UX designers to write all UX copy for redesigned specs directly in working Figma files.

New user onboarding

To support new and existing users with the site changes, I redesigned the new user onboarding experience and created product tours to familiarize existing user with the changes. I measured product tour effectiveness and made changes based on engagement metrics.
